360 & The story of Protect Black Women.
Protect Black Women as a line and pieces symbolize and unify a movement created for Black Women. This is for black women of all body types and shades. This says we uplift you, you are magic, the world is sleeping on the job of protecting and respecting you, but we other black women and all who support us and freedom in our communities, we see you. We are fighting to protect you!
June is young artist from Chicago, IL that has been organizing & curating experiences geared to uplift the community. She creates art as a means of expression and social response. Protect Black Women and its unique design was created In a survey of the community, when a common thread was found: Where is the room and space for black women?
If we do not specifically make room for black women, acknowledging the unique challenges, and disadvantages faced from being black and femme identifying it would mean leaving these struggles to remain present. An injustice to one group is an injustice to all groups. So it must be defined that the injustice done to black women is more than considerable and has come from all angles imaginable. To respond we see Protect Black Women as movement here to raise awareness and as well as begin the dialogue for the space that needs to be held, the changes to be made, and the justice still to be found for the many black women who have experienced injustice.

360, originally was founded in Chicago IL on September 28th, 2019 by Aisha June. We Outside , is the celebration of come to community. 360 was originally associated with the tagline “ Mind Over Matter“ 360. We aimed to serve and uplift our community through cultivating belief and support. Coming into We Outside 360 we acknowledged the refreshing quality nature. It’s always important to be connected to our roots. Through coming together outside and sharing our lights through creativity we are able to tell the story of connections, opportunities, growth, and jobs cultivated by our events and services as an organization and collective.

360 came to life around the values of Creativity, Expression, and Inspiration. In 2019 with these values refined into a mission to inspire our audience to keep going through artistic expression.
Today we are a creative and cultural movement. Aiming to cultivate experiences that inspire our community, we offer many events for artists to have a platform to express themselves. We cultivate spaces that highlight the talents of our community and bring an uplifting energy full circle, to everybody present.

In 2021 360’s founder moved to Washington D.C, and discovered similar need for creativity and community. The importance we have on campus is to acknowledge the need for community and creativity as the catalyst. We serve the community with events, facilitate creative space, encourage storytelling. These actions continue to uplift our community by growing in 360 motion, cultivating the positive influence and impact we thrive to achieve. We also acknowledge the importance and action of supporting the development of youth aged 16-24 to explore their voice and identity as an investment in our leaders of the future and their ability to lead the world into better action and solutions.
